What Are Social Lessons In Dancing?

Social Lessons in dancing are party nights where you get to use everything you have learnt in your Private and Group Dance Lessons

What Are Social Lessons in Dancing

Social Nights and Social Dance Parties are the next level where you get to use your dancing socially

  • Social Dance Parties – are less β€œcontrolled” than either Private or Group Dance Lessons.
We turn the lights down, put the music on randomly, no one is telling you what to do. . . sounds scary.
We are trying to emulate a Social event outside the studio. You need to practice using your Social Dancing, in a Social environment.

  • Your Private Dance Lessons are where you learn what you need to become a great Social Dancer

  • And Your Group Dance Lessons are where you practice and make your dancing comfortable in a controlled situation. One teacher with 6 to 10 students all at the same level.

Our Social Dance Parties are not open to the public. So the only people at our Parties are other Students and Teachers, so it is a safe place to practice using your dancing socially.

We are very proud that here at 5th Avenue Dance Studio Gold Coast, we have never had to encourage or β€œmake” our students swap partners.

What Are Social Lessons in Dancing 1

All our students know that being able to dance with anyone, regardless of their level of proficiency, is what Social Dancing is all about.

If men want to practice their Leading, dancing with someone different will be the proof that their β€˜leading’ is working, and visa versa Ladies, need to try dancing with many partners to hone their β€˜following’ skills.

Plus; dancing with multiple partners at our Social Dance Nights, is the polite and social thing to do, make everybody happy and to feel part of a community within our dance studio 5th Avenue Dance.
