Some dancers considered Rumba the most sensual Latin dance, for its relatively slow rhythm and the hip movement.

Of the three styles of Rumba introduced to the USA, the Bolero-Rumba, the Son-Rumba and the Guaracha-Rumba, only the Bolero-Rumba (shortened to Bolero and taught in Silver, Gold and Supreme Gold) and the Son-Rumba (shorted to Rumba and taught in the Bronze, Silver and Gold), have survived the test of time.
