What is meant by Ballroom dancing?

The answer is twofold:

  1. Ballroom Dancing
    As a generic term this can mean any dance you may come across on a Ballroom dance floor. These dances do include: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Rumba, Cha Cha, Swing, plus any and all other dance.
  2. The β€œBallroom Dances”
    These, specifically, are the dances that move around the room in an anti clockwise fashion. These dances include: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Peabody, 2 Step.
